Ken Jeong is teaming up with “Crazy Rich Asians” author Kevin Kwan once again!
The 49-year-old actor and The Masked Singer panelist has been been cast in a lead role in CBS’ multi-camera comedy pilot “The Emperor of Malibu.”
The new series is being co-written and executive produced by Asians writer Kevin Kwan.
The Emperor of Malibu centers on Auggie, the son of a Chinese billionaire who gets engaged to a California woman he has been dating for two years without telling his parents.
When his father (played by Ken) finds out, he brings the entire family to California in an effort to persuade son Auggie to rethink his engagement.
